Groundwork

A 22-page site that makes a scoped AI and operations offering tangible through use cases and illustrative workflows.

What changed

Built and deployed the Groundwork site with 22 linked pages, example finance and ordering workflows, and a local project-brief download. The site demonstrates the offering; it does not report customer adoption or operating results.

01The Problem

A broad AI and operations offering is hard to evaluate when visitors cannot see the specific workflow, the business controls, or the first step toward a project.

The product decision
Show enough of the workflow for a buyer to understand the decision and the handoffs. Keep the examples visibly illustrative, and make the next step a scoped project brief.
02What I Built

A responsive 22-page static website with solution and use-case pages, illustrative workflow demonstrations, and a locally generated project brief.

03Overview

Groundwork presents a service model for building, deploying, and operating finance systems, AI agents, and connected business workflows. I built a static site that takes visitors from the offer to specific use cases, example interactions, and a project brief they can prepare locally. The examples show intended workflows; they are not evidence of customer deployments.

04Key Objectives
  1. 1.
Make the Offer Specific: Organize a broad service offering around customer-facing and internal business problems, with a clear route from each use case to a project brief.
  2. 2.
Show the Workflow: Use interactive examples to explain how a customer request, a business decision, and a confirmed action connect.
  3. 3.
Clarify the Engagement: Explain how discovery, build, deployment, operation, and accepted outcomes fit together without presenting illustrative systems as installed products.
05Methodology
  • ◆
Map the Information Architecture: Created linked pages for solutions, use cases, partners, company information, and project intake, with shared navigation and page templates.
  • ◆
Build Concrete Examples: Added an invoice trail and a customer-to-business ordering demonstration to make the proposed work legible to both operators and buyers.
  • ◆
Keep Claims Separate: Marked example workflows as illustrative and described service capabilities as work to scope and deliver, rather than existing customer results.
06From Positioning to a Site

The site turns Groundwork's broad promise into pages a visitor can follow: what the team could build, where it fits, how a workflow might behave, and how to frame a first engagement. The static build generates 22 linked pages from shared content and components.

07Examples With Boundaries

The sales and ordering example shows a customer conversation alongside the business view of stock, checkout, order creation, and fulfilment. The invoice example shows the steps behind an auditable payment trail. Both are demonstrations of a proposed operating model, not live transaction systems.
